Two high quality organic cotton nut drink bags

You don't need big gadgets to make vegan, homemade and delicious milk alternatives: This nut milk pouch made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton from our own brand is proof of that! Best of all, by making it homemade, you know exactly what's in it. No unwanted added sugar, flavor enhancers or preservatives, but natural ingredients according to individual preferences. And unlike conventional products made of nylon, this product cannot shed microplastic particles because the nut milk bag is made 100% plastic-free from top to bottom - even the packaging is made of recycled organic cotton.

Thanks to the fine-mesh fabric, all that's left at the end is a soft and intense drink with a milky consistency that's perfect as a milk substitute in coffee, cereal, dough or to enjoy on its own. Simple, delicious and above all sustainable!

The bag is optimal for making 1 l of nut milk. It is washable at 40 °C and can therefore be reused. Incl. recipe ideas for almond, hazelnut and oat drink inside the package. 1 pack = 2 pieces.

Preparation:

In 6 easy steps to make 1 liter of delicious almond drink:

1. Soak 200 g almonds for 8-10 hours, better overnight, in double the amount of water.
2. Drain the soaking water and rinse the almonds with cold water.
3. Put the almonds in a blender with 1 liter of water and a sweetener (e.g. dates or agave syrup).
4. blend for approx. 2 minutes on the highest setting.
5. Strain through memo nut milk bag to remove solids.
6. Bottle the finished drink - it will keep in the refrigerator for about 2-4 days.

Sustainability:

The memo nut milk bags are produced according to ecological and social standards. Thus, the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Fairtrade Cotton and the Green Button ensure the biologically controlled origin of the cotton. The entire production process is monitored according to strict criteria, thus ensuring sustainable manufacturing. Through these recognized certificates, risks such as child and forced labor, human rights violations and discrimination and their actual effects are also regularly checked. In addition, a grievance mechanism is granted to all employees in the producing factory.

Cotton is a very special raw material and is not used in about half of all textiles worldwide for nothing: it is renewable and extremely durable. The cotton used in the nut milk bag comes from controlled organic cultivation. Here, for example, significantly less water is used than in conventional agriculture and any harmful and toxic substances are avoided. The use of organic cotton therefore protects the environment and health. The product is 100% plastic-free thanks to the production from organic cotton - even the packaging is made from recycled organic cotton.

For the production, only cuttings left over from the production of Fairtrade cotton textiles are used. In a paper manufactory, new high-quality packaging is made from it - using pure solar energy. The packaging can be disposed of properly via paper waste.
