Salus Floradix Iron for children
was developed for a normal mental development of children. The dietary supplement ensures the supply of available bivalent iron for a normal requirement. Every cell in the body needs oxygen besides glucose to win energy. The iron-containing hemoglobin in the red blood cells gathers oxygen in the lungs and transports it to the cells via blood flow. During the process of growth iron is needed for the development of the blood pigment hemoglobin which is responsible for the oxygen transport.Children and adolescents may have an increased iron requirement during their growth. Concomitant effects of growth may be fatigue, less attention and less drive. The iron requirement may increase especially among girls after the onset of menstruation. Even in times of great intellectual challenge iron supports a normal, vital cognitive development.
As a special feature Floradix Iron for children includes additional B vitamins and natural vitamin C from the acerola cherry.
