Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for our body. They influence our heart health*, brain metabolism** and vision**. Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), which cannot be formed by our body without precursors, are particularly relevant from a nutritional point of view. The Salus Omega-3 Compact Capsules contain a concentrate of pure Alaskan pollock oil from sustainable fishing with 75% omega-3 content. In addition, the capsules are particularly small and compact as well as odorless and tasteless. 

Already one capsule contains 375 mg omega-3 fatty acids, of which 200 mg EPA and 150 mg DHA. Vitamin E serves to protect the cells from oxidative damage. 

*) DHA and EPA contribute to normal heart function. For this positive effect 250 mg EPA and DHA should be taken daily. 

**) DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and vision. The positive effect is established with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA.
