Direction for use:
An oil pulling cure is a kind of "mouth rinse" with vegetable oil. The practice, which originated in Ayurveda, is used in the morning, on an empty stomach, before brushing teeth. Some experts recommend cleaning the tongue before oil pulling.
Put 1 tablespoon of oil in the mouth, move it around and pull it through the teeth. The recommended duration is about 20 minutes. During oil pulling, the oil in the mouth becomes thinner over time and changes color to a milky liquid. Then spit out the oil into a paper towel, dispose of it in the household waste and rinse your mouth with water. Brush your teeth as usual.

Especially beginners often have to get used to the oily mouth feeling. Therefore, when oil pulling for the first time, it may be advisable not to fill the mouth too much and to slowly increase the application time from 3 to 5 minutes. It can also be easier to start with a teaspoon of oil instead of a tablespoon. Also, don't strain too much when oil pulling. Alternating between pulling, slurping and moving in the mouth can provide a pleasant change and avoid cramping of the jaw muscles.
Start the day inspired
While oil pulling, there are plenty of ways to get a good start to the day. You can prepare breakfast in peace, meditate, shower and enjoy your individual beauty program. The time will fly by.
Oil pulling during pregnancy
Due to the hormonal changes and rearrangements during pregnancy, bleeding gums, bad breath and nausea may increase. If the expectant mother has vomited due to morning sickness, it is recommended not to brush teeth directly, as stomach acid can attack the tooth surface and saliva formation takes a while until the tooth surface is sufficiently supplied with minerals again. It may be better to rinse the mouth well with water and apply an oil pulling treatment. The oral cavity is simply and effectively cared for and cleaned, and the remineralization of the teeth is supported. In this way, potentially occurring bad breath due to suboptimal dental hygiene is also counteracted.
