Versatile in use! Arche Arrowroot Starch
Arche Organic Arrowroot Starch is one of Arche exotics - the very fine vegetable starch is gluten-free and is washed out from the Arrowroot plant. The versatile binder is neutral in taste and ideal for sauces, soups, puddings, fine pastries and gluten-free bread.
To thicken 250 ml of liquid, dissolve 2-3 level tsp (approx. 10 g) of the vegetable binder arrowroot starch in a little cold water, stir in, bring slowly to the boil and simmer briefly.
As breadcrumbs, mix 3 tablespoons of starch (about 20g) with 2-3 tablespoons of water.
Ingredients: Arrowroot starch (Maranta arundinacea) from organic farming.
