The finest leaf tips of the tea bush are gently ground into this unique powder tea. The organic Matcha powder tea is deep green in color, fine tart intense and a special treat.

Matcha is the tea of the traditional Japanese tea ceremony and is appreciated today not only for its delicious taste but also for its high content of EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate).

Preparation: Pour a 1/2 tsp (about 1.5 g) Arche Organic Matcha in a bowl to taste with 150-200 ml of boiled water cooled to 60°C. Whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk for a few seconds until a fine, delicious foam forms.

Tip: Mix the tea powder first with two teaspoons of water until creamy, then whisk with the remaining water - this creates a finer foam.
