Mild, aromatic from the South African sun
Mild, aromatic, low in tannins - that is what distinguishes Rooibos tea. In the Cedar Mountains north of Cape Town, the up to two-metre-high rooibos bush thrives, which has long since found enthusiasts on all continents. It grows on barren soil under the hot African sun. The South African national drink gets its aromatic taste from fermentation. Enjoy a cup of original South Africa. Rooibos tastes intense and sweet and is reminiscent of vanilla, making it popular with children. The red colouring comes from fermentation of the fresh green branches, which are then dried.
