Lemon balm, also known as lemon balm, is a perennial herbaceous plant that smells pleasantly of lemons and thrives in warm, temperate climates. It can grow up to one meter high, bears small white flowers and has strongly scented, egg-shaped leaves. It is also known colloquially as immenblum or honey flower. In traditional natural medicine, lemon balm is used to treat problems with the skin, respiratory tract and stomach as well as nervous tension and sleep disorders.
