The new generation of wax crayons made from renewable raw materials have bright colors and high covering property. Specially developed for natural textiles, not suitable for synthetic fabrics or wool. A slight white haze on the wax crayons, the wax bloom, is a proof of quality and indicates a high proportion of pure beeswax.
Application:
Wash and rinse the textiles before painting (remove the finish).
Place a strong cardboard box under the piece of fabric or between the bottom and top sides.
Soft, ribbed textiles (e.g. T-shirts) must be stretched slightly.
Always work with the structure when painting! Paint on the motif with strong strokes. The paint must be applied generously so that the wax can nestle completely around the fibre. For fine contours rather unsuitable, draw these better with a contour pencil (e.g. with the textile / brush painters).
Once the motif is finished, place absorbent paper under the textile and iron the motif from the back (without steam) until no more colour remains on the paper. Then iron the front without paper.
After 2 days at the earliest, wash the painted textile with a mild detergent at 40°C - without optical brightener. Before painting, wash the textiles at 40°C during the first wash.
Attention: Children under the age of 3 should be supervised by adults. Contains small parts that can be swallowed.
Ingredients: vegetable waxes, beeswax, vegetable stearines and oils, nontoxic pigments.
