The Loewenzahn Organics 4-grain porridge consists of einkorn, oats, rye and barley. The porridge provides valuable energy from long-chain carbohydrates.
Especially good to combine with fruit and vegetable purees. Our demeter cereal porridge comes from the whole grain and is as natural as possible so that nutrients and taste are preserved.
The porridge is easy to prepare and only needs to be cooked for two minutes.

Preparation:
As half milk Porridge:
- Put a heaped tablespoon of porridge (approx. 18 g) with 100 ml water and 100 ml whole milk in a pot and mix well with a whisk.
- Bring to the boil on the stove and cook while stirring until the mixture thickens (about 2 minutes).
- Allow to cool to consumption temperature (37° C).
As milk-free cereal porridge:
- Put a heaped tablespoon of porridge (approx. 18 g) in a pot with 200 ml water and mix well with a whisk.
- Bring to the boil on the stove and cook while stirring until the mixture thickens (about 2 minutes).
- Allow to cool to consumption temperature (37° C) and add a teaspoon of organic oil (e.g. rapeseed oil).
With milk food:
- Put a heaped tablespoon of porridge (approx. 18 g) in a pot with 150 ml water and mix well with a whisk.
- Bring to the boil on the stove and cook while stirring until the mixture thickens (about 2 minutes).
- Allow to cool to consumption temperature (37° C) and mix with about 100 ml of ready-made formula.
* It is also possible to replace cow's milk with vegan milk substitutes such as rice milk, almond milk or oat milk. In the case of special breast-feeding needs and forms, talk to your doctor or midwife beforehand. When buying a milk substitute, you should make sure that no sugar, salt or vitamins have been added to the product.
