A real top class Japanese green tea
A green penumbra tea from the first plucking. Only the tender buds and youngest leaves of the first green in spring are used for this penumbra tea. These develop an incomparably fresh, fragrant green tea aroma of high intensity and yield. Through a special preparation, the fine aroma is preserved in the best possible way. Originally drunk by Buddhist monks for spiritual gathering, green tea is considered a source of inspiration, concentration and vitality.
Preparation:
Cool 1/2 liter of bubbling boiling water to about 70°C.
Infuse with 3 teaspoons of green tea and let steep for 60 seconds.
Immediately pour through a strainer into small tea cups, dividing the last drops evenly among all cups. Serve fresh!
Two more tasty infusions can be prepared from the tea leaves that have not yet cooled completely. Allow these to steep for only 20 seconds each. Traditionally, green tea is drunk unsweetened.
