That bears fruit!
With the organic gelling agent fruit gel succeed delicious fruit spreads, jams, jams and red fruit jelly. The finely tuned composition of starch, arrowroot, agar agar and pectin is a vegetable gelling agent without added sugar. The organic gelling agent is neutral in taste and ideal even for sour fruit. Depending on the amount of sugar and cooking time, the fruitiness and shelf life change as desired. Arche gelling agent can be purchased in organic supermarkets, organic food stores and natural food stores.
For fruit spread: mix 22 g fruit gel (2 heaped tablespoons) with 300-400 g sweetener, 1 kg chopped fruit and 3 tablespoons lemon juice, bring to a boil and simmer for 5-10 min. stirring constantly. Perform gelatinization test, fill into jars, close tightly and let cool standing on the lid. For best gelling, mix very sour fruit with sweet fruit and omit lemon juice. Sugar-reduced spreads succeed with fruit gel, but do not keep as long.
Tip: for solid jelly we recommend Arche Agar Agar!
