Chamomile blue organic
True chamomile, also known as blue chamomile, is an annual herbaceous plant that is widespread in Europe. It can reach a height of up to 50 cm and is characterized by its white and pleasantly fragrant flowers. Chamomile essential oil takes on a deep blue hue during the distillation process due to the formation of chamazulene. Chamomile has been valued as a medicinal plant for thousands of years. In traditional naturopathy, it is used to alleviate complaints of the respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract and skin diseases.

The ingredient azulene, which gives chamomile and yarrow oil its rich blue color, is only produced during distillation.
Uses: In the fragrance lamp, for body oils, baths and compresses.
