Dental care the tried and tested way for thousands of years
Miswak is a root of the so-called toothbrush tree (Salvadora Persica) and has been used for thousands of years in Arab countries as a natural means of cleaning teeth. It is considered one of the oldest forms of toothbrush. The wood naturally contains fluorides, tannins, saponins, vitamin C, flavonoids, silicon, calcium and potassium. These components are effective for oral hygiene and can support dental health. It is a real insider tip for healthy, white teeth. The root measures about 16 cm.
Application: Remove approx. 1 cm of bark and clean the freshly harvested miswak under running water. Then chew on the tip until you can use the miswak like a brush. Now you can start cleaning your teeth. Please brush each tooth individually and gently, without applying much pressure and always away from the gums. You can use the tip of your tongue to feel whether the teeth are smooth and clean. Please spit out any broken wood fibers. Allow to dry after use. If the cleaning effect diminishes, the Miswak must be shortened and chewed again
