Davert Parboiled Rice - quick-cooking rice with valuable nutrients
Discover Davert parboiled rice in a cooking bag. Thanks to the sophisticated parboiling process, Davert not only preserves most of the valuable nutrients of the natural rice grain, but also guarantees a tender consistency and full flavour. The practical cooking bag ensures successful preparation without burning or annoying sticking. Our parboiled rice is perfect as a side dish or as an ingredient in stir-fries, salads and casseroles. Preparation: One cooking bag makes approx. 2 portions as a side dish:
1. bring plenty of water (approx. 1 litre per bag) to the boil in a saucepan, add a little sea salt to taste.
2. place the cooking bag flat in the boiling water. Simmer for 20 minutes with the lid on.
3. use a fork to remove the cooking bag from the water by the loop and drain. Cut open the bag, serve the parboiled rice and enjoy.
