- Boil fresh water and allow it to cool to about 50°C (122°F).
- Pour the required amount of water into a sterilized bottle.

Preparation:
- Boil fresh drinking water and allow to cool to approx. 40-50 °C.
- Pour ½ of the required amount of water into the bottle.
