Pure oats - the best for your baby
Prepare the first cereal porridge for your baby from the age of five months: pure oat baby porridge. Oats are perfectly absorbed and utilized by the body and are also rich in iron and fibre. The organic baby porridge is the only organic cereal porridge in Germany that is not instant and can be freshly prepared within two minutes. Unlike conventional baby porridges, it has not been industrially pre-cooked or dehydrated. With valuable whole grains and a natural taste, it provides an ideal basis for later meals with the family. Demeter baby porridge can be used in a variety of ways, whether as a breakfast, lunch or dinner porridge and is also suitable for snacks.
As a dairy-free cereal porridge
1. add a heaped tablespoon of porridge (approx. 18 g) to 200 ml of water in a saucepan and mix well with a whisk.
2. bring to the boil on the stove and cook, stirring, until the porridge thickens (about 2 minutes).
3. allow to cool to consumption temperature (37 °C) and add a teaspoon of organic oil (e.g. rapeseed oil).
As a half-milk Porridge
1. place a heaped tablespoon of porridge (approx. 18 g) in a pan with 100 ml water and 100 ml whole milk* and mix well with a whisk. 2. bring to the boil on the stove and cook, stirring, until the porridge thickens (about 2 minutes).
3. allow to cool to consumption temperature (37 °C).
* It is of course possible to replace cow's milk with vegan milk substitutes such as rice milk, almond milk or oat milk, provided you have discussed these special dietary requirements and forms with your doctor or midwife. When buying a milk substitute, you should make sure that no sugar, salt or vitamins have been added to the product.
With milk formula
1. put a heaped tablespoon of porridge (approx. 18 g) in a pan with 150 ml of water and mix well with a whisk.
2 Bring to the boil on the stove and cook, stirring, until the porridge thickens (about 2 minutes).
3. allow to cool to consumption temperature (37 °C) and mix with about 100 ml of ready-made milk formula.
